In November 2007 Downer Contracting entered into a partnership with Graymont to load, haul & stockpile waste rock which is blasted and removed as well as the stripping of overburden. The high grade limestone rock is then loaded and hauled to the plant which is located in Exshaw, Alberta.

Downer’s other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Quarry road maintenance as well as other work within the Quarry and at the plant site.
